With the exception of white clothes, why is it that dryer fluff is always the same grey. You put blue, green or red clothes in the dryer and you get grey fluff. Just seems odd to me. Your thoughts?

It's just the way that colors work. Complimentary colors (think yellow and purple) when combined tend to make greys, sometimes browns. Personally, I usually find that my dryer lint is more bluish; if I do was my now ex-girlfriend's red clothes the lint is more purple. It really just depends on what clothes you put in and if you mix colors.

It's not for me. Depends on the color of the clothes.

The more important things is to always make sure you clean it out of the dryer. Not just the lint trap but all the little nooks. Especially the exhaust duct. Failure to do so can lead to a fire.

Ha. I don't even have a dryer. No fluff!

Don't ask me about the funny grey fluff hopping about on my balcony though. I suspect it's from dustbunnies being at it.

I don't think so. Getting banned for posting pictures of dustbunnies procreating isn't going to do my reputation much good.

I suppose not. But it would be a nice chapter in OTF history!

What, me getting banned? Charming!
Hey, you'd get used to it. :whistling:

Back to topic, Ogre's spot on. I know that when I made the mistake of drying a red blanket with 'fluff', the dryer hose appeared to be bleeding.

:scratchchin:

Of course, it might have just been that my house was possessed, but I think I blame the red blanket.

Well I thought it was some sort of glitch in reality but the dust bunnies explain everything to me now. It is interesting what you get from online forums, dust bunnies eh. Ok I'll go with that, so how the hell are dust bunnies getting into my dryer then? Can someone explain that? :scratchchin:

As I said, I don't have a dryer, so I wouldn't know.
I have dustbunnies on my balcony (I suppose they hop up from the flats below me) and I assume that generally speaking dustbunnies tend to do their private development under beds. I've been told, that is where you find most dustbunnies.

I don't have that many dustbunnies. I have an evil device that basically sucks, and eats dustbunnies. How cruel.

Hmmm, learning so much from you guys. So much wisdom in around these parts. I have an annoying possum that lives in the roof above where I sit right now and its making the most annoying scratching sounds. Would love to get myself one of those devices that could suck it up out of the roof and eat it. Maybe I could stick a food processor in the hole he crawls though and attach the on switch to a motion detector. Would that be cruel??

Lure it out at night with food then seal up its access. Just make sure the babies aren't home either.
