About Blocking in Werewolf Form

Hi, I'm new here.. I've just made a Druid and am concentrating on Werewolf Build.. Now my doubt is this.. Suppose I'm equipping a Shield on my Druid , say it does 30% Block, and with my Dexterity it does perhaps 35% Block.. Now If i were to Shapeshift to Werewolf, Does Blocking still occur?? How do I know whether a successful block has occurred or not? In normal cases, a slight Thunk sound will be heard when blocking, but for a Werewolf, I have never heard it..

This will help me decide whether to equip my Druid with a Two Handed Weapon or not, as Two Handed Weapons do much more damage..

You block. When it looks like your Wolf twitches but doesn't take enough damage to force Hit Recovery that's him blocking. Also, is this for PvP or PvM? For PvM you shouldn't need to use a one handed weapon anyways.

It is for PvM.. I play in Single Player so.. So Its better to use a Two Handed Weapon then?? Why shouldn't I use one handed weapon, Blocking is good na??

Because a Fury Wolf will have such a large lifepool that almost nothing will force him into hit recovery. This means that you'll be getting in more attacks per second. With decent leech, you'll all but nullify the life saved by blocking.

Also, for PvM, blocking is actually detrimental. The life saved from the block is counteracted by the time of the block animation, time that could have been used attacking and leeching more life than that saved from block. Also, two handed style gives you access to Ribby, the best PvM Wolf weapon in the game.
