Damn that fricking maggot. The third char is dead...
I had a few kit items and a unique ready to mule off, but the rules state I shouldn't send them so...

I just can't give up though. There are some character classes left and I am going with the Paladin... a Freezealot to eat them all up and avenge my bear.
(Im starting to get quite annoyed on that no vitality rule)

Sorry to hear about the death Docturnal.

Just a quick question, do charms, 1-5 lightning damage say, add on to my Chain Lightning damage even though it isn't shown on the character screen or am I dreaming?

No, you have to physically attack or use a ranged weapon for that damage to do anything.

R.I.P Golly the Bonemancer. He died a careless death in the sewers of Lut Gholein. He was a level 20, and died with 12 tounament points.

He is replaced by my 2nd character: GollyMissMolly -another Bonemancer.

GollyMissMolly has made it to the Outer Cloister, 4 quests, 6 WPs, and -10 tank points (for a clay golem) for a total score of 4!

Killed Big Red on /p1 which was more then tough enough, each hit from his flaming circle of death would knock off 85% health so it was a classic hit and run affair.

At some point if anybody would like them. I'd use them myself but my magic find obsession is so great that even now with 10 Vit I'd rather use the 24% magic find gauntlets I bought off Ashera.

I also saved a +105AR ring if anybody feels they need a boost.

Hey Randy, nice job with the clearage of D. I like. I'm actually nearing him, and in half a level, I will put on the beautiful Sander's Gloves my druid found in A2. Hopefully, I won't get killed by IM, but we will see. Meanwhile, I was wondering if you wanted to trade some stuff, I've got a 10% fcr/22 cold res rare ring that you might use, and a Hsarus' belt (20 life 20 cold res 3 rows) and a wand and dagger each with charges of lvl1 lifetap (dangerous for me to wolf out just to cast it, so I stopped trying to do it and took down Meph with my cold merc, 4 ravens, and 11 health pots). Although YOU probably won't find this of any use, I have a +fire skills circlet up for trade as well.

As for my druid, he's in the river of flame headed towards a hellforge (Come on PRuby!) and Diablo's Sanctuary. I'll post stats either after D or when I die, whichever comes first.

EDIT: if anyone wants to trade me, just post what stuff you have (I'm particularly interested in high-end rubies, druid helms of any sort, and mauls, scythes, or axes with IAS on them, FHR charms, and life charms).

Notable finds: skystrike for my merc and dark clan crusher which is waiting for sledgeh if he makes it to lvl 34 :lol:

The levels 21-24 were tough. I didn't have a decent offensive spell so I was still using lvl 4 ice blast which I had way back in the Cold Plains (thanks dahker ;) ) Once I got blizzard and ES though, things became a bit easier.

This was a pretty incredible find at the time:

Act 3 mercs can use shields.

And now for an update. As always, let me know if I made any mistakes. A lot has happened since the last update. Shermo has blasted into the lead with our first Destroyer, even after two deaths!

Diablo is dead. My druid is still alive. OH YEAH! With a bit of care and letting my A3 cold merc take care of almost everything in the Chaos Sanctuary, I made it to D and gave him a clobbering. He dropped me a whole lot of ONE HANDED weapons, one of them being an ethreal crushflange, which my druid will love to take and clobber Baal with, but that will come in due time. I now also have a tarnhelm and death's sword to add to my collection of items. I hope Cattleya doesn't stick a tanking penalty on me because all my druid does now is tank for my merc, who kills most things :lol:

I don't think there is a better staff for this build, period. Kinda funny 'cause I found one of these last time round when I was playing a 'zon.

Two Frosties! I don't have the strength to use them atm, but once I do my mana will be well over 1200.

Angelic armour+ring+ammy combo. It gives 50%mf, 50% fr, +1 skills and most importantly 95 life and 50 mana.

And to top it all off a nightsmoke with the interesting "50% damage goes to mana" mod as well as some mana and resists.

I can't see myself having any problems until CI's start cropping up in act 5.

Noooooooooooooooooo, Shermo is so gonna kill us all if he doesn't come up against a mana burn boss of some sorts. In any case, I'm going hiking today (just like yesterday), but I'll be back later to play. I was wondering, Cattleya if you mind us drinking many antidote pots and thawing pots en masse. And sorry for the inconvenience of my asking 10000 questions.

My assassin just completed act1 normal at lvl 18
I also got myself an act2 merc, cheap in game, expensive in points I know but I decided that without one I'll get nowhere as I'll be dual claw so no shadow minion/master

So I won't yet bother putting myself in the table as I'm at -25 points or so :lol:
We'll see how far she gets, there were no near death's in act1, no dangerous situations even, much better than I expected
(she is a kick-sin btw)

So I just finished act 2, still going strong and easy, got a few scary moments with scarabs when they spawned in open area's though.
She took down Duriel without using a single potion and even the merc survived :D
Got two uniq so far, Dimoak's Hew on my merc and Biggin's Bonnet on the sassin herself.

At the rate shermo's going there's absolutely no way I can beat him with my merc penalty so I shall just have to play for pride.
