    A question about +damage modifiers

how do +damage mods get calculated into my total damage?

are they added as a solid number after weap damage is modified by %ed from skills/armor?
    ex:
    100dam weap
    +100% ed from skill
    +50 damage
    ___________
    250 total damage?

or is it added to weap damage and then modified?
    ex:
    100dam weap
    +50 damage
    +100% ed from skill
    ___________
    300 total damage?

or is it calculated some other way?
Im specifically interested in how +damage gets calculated for Smite.

    Thanks.

If I am correct, for smite it is:

    Shield Damage+Holy Shield damage bonus+(+damage)=Damage1
    Damage1*(((Smite+Aura+Non-weapon ED)/100)+1)=Final Damage

So a Paladin with upped HoZ, lvl 27 Fana, lvl 30 Smite, lvl 30 Holy Shield, +400 Grief and Fortitude:

    (46-46)+(97-100)+(400-400)=543-546
    543*(((450+492+300)/100)+1)=543*13,41=7282
    546*13,41=7321,86
    Damage: 7282-7321

    To summarize this:
Grief damage is added as if it were base weapon/shield damage and then multipled by ED normally.

Those don't exist to my knowledge but I assume they would work the same way. Notice hoever that "+xx Damage" is not the same mod as "Adds xx-xx Damage."

so if it says adds x-xx dmg to attack, its applied after modifiers?
