a question about battle cry

1.if maxed battle cry gives you 44% less enemy damage, and you also have 50% damage reduction, does that mean you have 94% damage reduction?

2.i know battle cry works on everyone, but does it have a penalty on superuniques and act bosses?

3.if a monster is stunned, what does it mean? does it mean i'll be able to hit him every time i strike? he takes more damage?

4.which one is better, battle cry or war cry?

1) I think it reduces by 44% and then reduces the new damage by 50% or vice-versa so it is more of a middle range reduce.

2) Probaly has a stun penatly.

3) If a monster is stunned then he can't move, attack, or cast a spell. I don't think hitting them takes them out of stun.

4) Depends... I think war cry is better simply because war cry completly imobalizes them while battle cry only reduces their damage. It really dpends on your playing style and what you will be using / doing.

A stunned monster just stands there doing nothing. There is no bonus to your chance to hit or your damage total against it however.

Battle Cry and War Cry are both great skills. I like to use both. I put one point in Battle Cry and lots in War Cry (Battle Cry is a prerequisite of War Cry anyway). Even a one point Battle Cry lasts far longer than a 20 point War Cry, so pumping the latter makes more sense to me. When you meet a pack of monsters stun them with War Cry then cripple them with Battle Cry - then finishing them off should be easy.

If you are stunned, you are going into hit recovery each time you get hit. Normally it only happens if you lose 1/12 of your life with a single blow.

Forcing the enemy into hit recovery can be very powerful. Smiters can keep their enemies in hit recovery constantly because smite always hits, so they are not able to do anything until they are dead. Bosses cannot be stunned AFAIK - at least my zealot still gets attacked by Baal while he smites him.
