    A possible PVP Build? Oo

    Sup people,

    Ive looked around at the strategy guides but ive not come accross the one I have in mind.

    In 1.09 i had a crap load of pvp werebears.

    The most successful one was ofcourse the 4 frame attack with maul because it really immobilized some characters.

    I used to remember thinking "Goddamn this build would own if only it could dish out more dmg".

    And now in 1.10 im shocked to find that druids can cast geddon in shapeshifted form.

    Im curious how well that character will do in pvp?

    All the items have changed so i dont know the proper setups anymore.

    Basically
    -High speed weapon for bear. Im guessign its still the six socket phase.
    -The setup should involve keeping decent hit recovery and blockrate.
    -Rest of gear should be targeted towards +skills. Usual melee stuff like deadly strike and leech not important.
    -10 natural grand charms in stash for +skills
    -Remaining slots should hold fhr smal charms or life charms.

    Skills.
    Again i am not familiar with this synergy crap.
    -Max lycanthropy
    -Max werebear
    -Max Geddon
    -Max Oak
    -1 point in Maul
    -Points in usual distraction pets.
    -Rest of points in that skills that provide that synergy crap.

    Im just curious.
    How would this variant do? I need to know because im startinga new character and the time is approaching for me to start assigning critical skills.

    Very high lvl armaggeddon raining down + The powerful stunning attack of a 4 frame bear using maul + decently high HP werebear = dead melee opponent.

    Some feedback would be appreciated.

    It seems to me that you would be lacking in physical damage. Unless of course you are onnly using maul for stun :scratch: ? Perhaps maxing maul instead of oak and using HoW. You could also replace some of the skill charms with max/ar small charms.

    armageddon is toast once they have decent fire reists and a rising sun or dwarf star...
    just look at diablo clones armageddon

    with the + skills im sure i could easily get armageddon to about lvl 40 and still retain decent melee setup.

    Maul is purely for stun. Armageddon is used to chew you down.

    It won't do good enough damage without damage synergies, unfortunately. You could see how to possibly work that in.

    And I'd go for HoW over Oak, so you hit more often.

    Oh yeah... Lol forgot they mustve removed the eth bug.

    Id be willing to sacrifice lyanthropy for dmg synergy.

    I dont think people quite remember what 4 frame maul does to an opponent lol. It involves a lot of standing around on their part while white circles swirl around their head.

    blocking recovery has changed, that might effect whether its effective or not

    Use Shockwave instead of 1 point in Maul, otherwise you will not only lack Physical damage, you will lack the Chance to Hit. Even with HoW, you would still be lacking a lot, unless you plan to use Shapeshift Charms, which with Armageddon as the main focus, wouldn't be the right thing to do. 1 Point just isn't enough, even with a few +Skills.

    There's a thread already discussing a Shockwave/Armageddon build that you could look into, or you are going to need to put more points into Maul. HoW is too frail to rely soley upon for your AR.
