A lv 30 LLD amazon...

This is how it went down.

7 of us killing baal's minions, on average we are lv 40, levels 28-44.

The amazon joins, lv 30, and hostiles us.

Everyone laughs at her/him due to her level and the fact that we vastly out number him/her.

I knew better... death was imminent -

and BEHOLD

Amazon appears behind me, and almost instantly all 7 of us are dead.

She shot a bunch of guided arrows up my ***, so after a long think I'd have to go with bowazon.

what mine uses, and i know that the leet guys use better:
30frw/2os helm w/ maxers
1ama/life/mana ammy
maxed twitch
bloodfist
2x sojs
rare belt or deaths sash
sanders boots
upped/nef'd rogues bow
mix of max/ar/life gcs and frw scs

here's her damage and her helm, it's a bit low i know.

more expensive set up is a maxed/shaeld ashwood bow with deaths combo and a 3os/life armor maxed which i believe shoots at a slower frame rate but does a bunch more damage.

Blah... Who crashes normal baals with a zon? Try it with a level 30 Sorc... Teleport helps more than you can imagine.

But yes, Crawling Deadman has it mostly right. Just look for AR/stats rings over sojs. I also prefer an 'Honor' bow...

sweet, honor bow.

I'd go with mana/stats/min dmg rings. ar shouldn't be an issue against most characters - you can always stash other rings.

I think I lie... I am pretty sure honor is melee weapons only...

But I have never built a ranged non caster LLD, forgive me.

GA wont need ar at all. the only ring i'd use over soj would be a stat ring with massive amounts of mana.

SoJ's have issues with ele damage, and stats/min damage (for some reason you can get far more min damage than max damage on a ring, at any level) are superior to a skill if you can get mana on your ring (and +mana will be larger than +50% mana at any rate).

oh, i agree completely with what you're saying. i see sojs as the cheap substitute for a good min/stat/mana ring. i dont fully understand the mdr bug so i wasnt going to bring it up. i tried using angelics for their life/replen/dtm/stats but kept running out of mana so i switched to sojs/rare ammy. if i had 2 good rings i'd definitly use them.

2 x Rare 5 strength & dual leech rings
Deaths Gloves/Belt
Cow Kings Boots
8 x 8-10 Max GC's
Rest of sc's with max damage & frw.
