I gave it a couple of try's with my 1.09 druid. I couldn't get more than about 130 in the screen.
However, I did come up with a few suggestions:
1)Take the cows to one of the fenced areas. Not the cow king type area, but the regular timber fenced areas. This keeps them from all coming at you at once and making it harder to count.
2)I didn't try it, but I was thinking an amulet of inner sight would almost make them self counting.
3)Something with teleport charges is almost neccesarry so that you can get to the center of the cows for the final screenshot. Otherwise you have to mow yourself a path to center.
4)FRW is a almost a must. Not to get away, but to allow you to continuously circle the herds as you move them slowly to the fenced area.
5)Use a minion to keep/feed the cows while you break away from the fence area to collect more. Cast them near center of "loose" cows.
I gave up because I really need to start my homework.
Here is my best from normal cows.
Good luck to you.
