ive been readin alot these days cause of ladder reset...
i decieded 2 start with a kicker sin (my first kicker).
ive read dat only hammerdins could kill all 3... is dat true?
and will a kicker have a chance?

all elemental dmg cant hurt'em...
what do u say?

I wouldn't suggest a kicker for the first build of the new ladder. It'll make a decent 2nd character, but not a good first.

Anyway, there have been reports of several builds soloing the 3 - one of those builds was a well done kicker.

im playin with 2 friends so it wont be a prob...
i never played a kicker b4 and im interestin in it...

If you're playing with friends, it shouldn't be an issue. Kickers require a balance of offense and being able to survive. That usually means decent gear, or a party to help out. Since you have a party, well, it should work.

For what I've heard, hammerdins can't solo all the three. Zealers and smiters are probably the best bet.

I've been using my kicker to solo uber-tristram and also for collecting body parts. I had trouble initially, but slapped some dracs on, and then everything was easy. My kicker is actually a hybrid trapper, so her kick damage isn't that spectacular, but some good crushing blow more than makes up for it.

Yeah, if you can get some Draculs, so as to cast life tap, you should be good as gold provided you can come up with decent resist gear.

By the way, I'd also heard that hammerdins are weak against The Three. I guess those guys absorb magic damage, which really weakens the hammer or some such? I'd heard that a good smiter with an Exile shield (for life tap) is the way to go -- I'd like to try it out with my Zealer who wears Draculs, he'd probably hang in pretty strong.

The only problem with kickers is that, comparatively, they don't do a ton of damage. At least ... not the kind of damage a Zealer with top-end gear does. But they're still very strong, and I think they're a far more interesting build than a Zealer anyway.

if u put on dracs, uped gores, and gullimes face and u havent completly messed up building your kicker, you should be able to do alright with finding parts and fighting the ubers.
