@nagi-this build is definately not only for the very rich players, I've given some sample setups for the various wealth levels, and they all work fine. Actually, now that u've mentioned it, a CTA staff with 3 ES could possibly be the best switch.

@aqua-i only troll'ed the ones who couldnt read. Also, that applies to every char. Pick any char, any skil tree, throw enough godly gear on ur char and merc and u'll rape.

Again, this isnt ur next fishymancer who can walk through WSK naked. Ur gonna need some basic gear to get this girl running, but its by no means only for rich players.

Is it possible to do without lightning synergy? If I'd make a full energy sorc with max ES and telek I would have to leave lightning out.. what you think? THe CB damage would little over half less than with synergy.. can it kill anything in hell? From what I remember it was nice before 1.10 with just mastery.

Honestly you really do need synergies these days for hell mode. The only really viable non synergied spell for hell difficulty is frozen orb and even it is really only good as a backup at that point.

Firewall can be tolerable with only 20 points (+1 in the mastery, +equipment), and some skills with 3-4 synergies can do ok without maxing all of them (i.e. Blizzard, Fireball, etc.) but otherwise I agree - synergies are mostly a required thing if you want to enjoy your progress through hell.


In regards to the manaburn bug, if I'm not mistaken it's multiplied by 256. So what should be 20 mana removed from your pool, becomes over 5000 with the bug.

Yeah ok thanks :) Damn it's hard to figure out any kind of decent build with the ES.

Yeah that manaburn is huge, you see it nicely in flayer jungle, those dart blowing flayers with mana burn don't take all your mana, but a lot anyways and they deal like 50 damage :)

If ur going full ES, pick skills that can stand alone with 1 or no syngergies(Orb, Firewall, Enchant, Nova). U can actually get like +35 ES using full prebuff, which saves u 15 hard points, if u dont mind the hassle, lol.

Yeah nova is something I could consider actually, nova orb was pretty fun. Well don't u need like 40 ES to get 95% absorb?

But thanks for tip. I guess I have to make CB and nova sorc then :p with different kind of stats/skills.

No you didn't. You're saying things about the build now that contradict things in your start post.

A quote from there...

I gave valid pointers to some of the weaknesses considering the quoted statement. Trolling me that I can't read or assume that I don't know things is pretty bold when you carefully look at your statement again...

Your last post on this build should have been part of your start post. It would be much more obvious who's best suited to try this build.
