any people want to do a multyplayer game making any new chars/projects there thinking of? im making a frenzy barb. as soon as one person leaves the game we can just make a post for what level we are and if somone else from the forums wants to join we can keep the thread going. if any one else wants to play then post- or if this idea is stupid dont reply.

well its not stupid, but it would betbetter in teh MP thread up the top. can you host at the moment, cause id start a character with you if you want.

I wont go to Firewall / router settings since I dont know much about them..

Other multiplayer -> Host game -> Choose char, difficulty, you're set.

EDIT: I assume you're on 500kb cable? If that is, its more than enough for hosting.

what if i dont know my computers address for hosting? ow do i find it on comp?

Diablo II tells you the address. I think it appears in the screen where you select whether you want to host or join a game, and in a game underneath the difficulty level and area name when you have the map active.

If you have a router, Diablo will sometimes read a local network address instead. To double-check, use the website http://www.whatismyip.com/.

Many broadband connections have a static IP that stays the same between sessions. Dial-up IPs are assigned dynamically and change from session to session.
