Thanks to @ffs for the title on this one. ;)

Introduction:

A HC sept is one from my never ending to-do list. Seeing @Luhkoh Untwinked till Mat/Pat thread gave me the motivation to get this started. Finally, starting up 2x Ice Maiden's and a Medusa-Zon gave me the inspiration that I could actually manage one of them safely..

Rules:
Code:
1. HC & Untwinked
2. NO extended stash (can mule off, but not back on)
3. Single-Pass (quests must be completed before progressing to next Act)
4. NO "re-visiting" town (to refresh shopping/gambling)
5. NO players changing through entire difficulty (p8-normal, p5-nm, p3-hell is the plan..)
6. Full-ish* clears
* I've done 100% full clear AFAIK for A1, but it feels like I'm back working 14 hours a day at the mill.. So, not sure if I will stick to that rule. :confused:

As I said, this has been tedious so far. So, not sure if I will stick with full clears, or just "visit" all the different areas that I usually skip. I really miss my saftey craft Khalim's Flail.. She's about to head down towards Andy. Already have 3x -25% PLR items, just not sure how much damage I'll inflict at p8. I usually drop to p1.. :confused:

Love it. Single pass?! Won't you be really low on levels if you don' do nm on p8 and full clear? Regardless awesome project. I don't even deserve the shout out :p. Secondly, pray do tell, what is a safety craft khalims flail?

@Luhkoh I was impressed you got them all done. You made it sound brutal. :confused:

In 1.07 you can even craft quest items. ;)

I did a greater safety craft recipe on Khalims. It has like 6-8 DR and MDR. I forget exact numbers, but you are pretty much invincible in A1. :cool:

Ah awesome on the khalims. I like that a lot. Was wondering if it was an older patch thing. Lol yeah maybe was bit dramatic on the difficulty of my sept, I was just ready for it to be over. I think it took around 20 hours each character. I can only imagine your project will take... a bit... longer :p

SPOILER ALERT!! Despite my doubts Eterno managed to handle Duriel relatively easily. It has been excruciating to get her this far. If she had met her end in A2, I'm not sure I would have had the heart to continue with this project.. She has a bit of MF% going, and looking forward to getting her lvl 30 skills soon. :cool:

* She has been doing about 75% "full" clears. If a level/area is less than 2/3 cleared when I come across the exit, then I go back and clear more. Cleared 3/4 wings of Arcane Sanctuary, did NOT clear 3/4 Tombs though. I mean, they give you the symbol for a reason..

Sorry guys, never bothered learning how to do vids.. :p

"Only" 3x trips back to town to replenish belt. +1 extra trip where Abhaya decided to rush him and died in 3 seconds. I tried to switch to my "damage" sword, but it was too slow/getting interrupted all the time. So, just stuck with 'Steel' the entire engagement. Thank you very much OW. :rolleyes:

Made it to the all important lvl 30!! It was just a matter of time after clearing the Duriel hurdle. It certainly feels like she has turned a corner. She's gotten a promotion down at the mill, and a raise on her salary to TWO tuppence per month! :p A3, which I usually hate, has actually been pretty nice for her. Low HP monsters that run away is exactly what she needed.. A bit annoying that I had to basically do full clears to ensure that I didn't miss the "Sweaty Pits" or anything. I guess that's what I get for never noticing/clearing them before. :rolleyes:

Managed to get into a rhythm where she would cast Valk on far side of Diablo. Get in a few FAs, and chug a blue pot before Valk bit the dust. Re-cast and repeat. Took many many pots, and at least 1/2 dozen trips to town to replenish. Probably 10+ min battle.. :confused:

Eterno is all caught up (and leveled past..) her 3x sisters. Now they can all progress together.

A5 is always nice for XP. I'm not sure that I've ever finished at such a high level though. Wondering if I should go p8 for NM, or drop to p5? I can't change setting for the entire difficulty, so Diablo and Ancients will all done on whatever setting I choose. Eterno has come across a couple of CI's already. I'm debating what to do with her for a second element? I'd like to go with javelins, PJ or LF. But, may go Immo Arrow if I have to. I'm hoping to find something along the way like Razortail or Trang gloves which will make my decision easier.

Nice project. Looks fun! Makes me want to get back to a bowie sooner than later for sure. In your A4 pics, did you mean Eye of Etlich? I assume Cat's Eye can't drop there and if it can, you should be way more excited! :p

For that incredible Wizendraw drop, I would consider a Shael (as soon as you find a Hel now) since it's a slow bow and that might really help you move up a BP.

@jonnyphive yes, that was indeed Etlich from A4. I got names confused. Good EYE! :p

Im not worried about IAS yet, as mana is the determining factor for FA. Once she gets an Insight merc going I will have to see where her IAS is at. Right now, its 0%.. :oops:
