6 soc Phaseblade

Hi all

Can somebody please tell me the best place to find a 6 soc phase blade, or if any 1 plays the europe realm and doesnt want 1 anymore then i'd be happy to take

Oh yea and also i got my fireclaws bear to lvl 54 i think (somewhere in the 50's) and does like 3.8k dmg (maxed fireclaws, 1 synergy, half way through maxing anova and gonna max 1 after that) so should be average dmg (maybe 5.5k-6k) :thumbsup:

Best place to find these types of items are usually cows or in act 5 I believe.

If you still have your socket quest, I'm pretty sure you can just use a normal phase blade in that and you will get 6 sockets. That is what I've done in the past, but I'm not sure if it works every time.

I find TONS of phase blades in baal runs.

if you ask Hell Larzuk (not the NM/Norm one, for which I'm sure the Norm L won't do this) to socket your Druid's white phase blade, he will give you 6 soc. No need to run Baals a mil years just for a 6os pb.

Any socket quest will give you the max number of sockets, depending on the item's ilvl [I think], but its based on where you found the item, not what difficulty you socket it in.

i think it might actually be based on the lvl of the char who found it rather than where it was found

This is correct. Find a Phase from hell and larzuk will give it 6 sockets.

The socketing quest always provide the maximum possible number of sockets regarding the item lvl of the item no matter of the difficulity. The ilvl is e.g. higher in pit hell than in pit norm. Etc.

Due to the elite status of the phaseblade its item level will be great enough for 6 sockets when found. You can change that amount by different means though I wouldn't advise it.

I found a few phaseblades doing pit-runs and a lot of other nice socketables there as well.
