5k life Smiters?

5k life Smiters?

Hello.Just wanted to post a question for all of you.I have been hearing a lot lately about Smiters with 5k life and just wanted to know.how is this achieved?
I realize my build is pretty much cookie cutter with COA(BER BER)Maras,COH,Hoz,Grief PB,Dracs,Raven Frost,bk,Verdungos,Waterwalks boots Pcomb lifers 20life scs,20/17 torch,19/18 Anni.
Still,I'm not even coming close to 5k life.
Hell,I'm lucky to reach 3.7k.so,what am I doing wrong here?I really need some advice on the low life situation.

20+ 20life scs + A max Vit build (via enigma) + bo and a lot of the normal +vit items could easily get 5k

Almost perfect gear*rare ammy/rings depending on build* 20 stat torch/anni, and 37 20 life scs should put you close, then there is always Oak/BO to boost u also.

Ah,ok.so is it worth it as compared to 8x Pcomb lifers and the rest 20 life scs?
And what about max block?.you ll need points in dex to achieve that(after equipment)

Pcombs don't do too much on a smiter most of your dmg comes from grief anyways, if you want massive life go for pure life scs.

Ok so I should Pump in just enough dex for max block and the rest life correct? (after equip)

well if you're smite vs. smite in pvp theres no point in max block, as smite can't be blocked

Yeah but,it matters when being hit with Grief,or going up against a WW Barb.I cant think of anyone who has made a smiter W/O max block.It would be suicide without it,even with 5k life.

Well your going to have to have enough dex for your PB anyways, and max block shouldn't be too far from that, otherwise enough str for gear, dex for max block, rest in vit.

With hoz and level 20 holy shield you would only need 136 dex to maintain max block until level 94 so using a pb grief with max block is easy (this is all according to the max block calculator that i use sorry if there is any mistakes in calculations)
