50% mf circlet, 40% mf rings, 50% mf ammy... do these still spawn?

I was wondering if circlets with 50% magic find, rings with 40% magic find, and amulets with 50% magic find still spawn, that is blue ones with the fortunous prefix and of luck suffix (correct me if i'm wrong). I know they did in 1.09 (well at least the rings and ammy) but not sure if 1.10 changed anything. Thanks!

Yes they can, although they're quite rare and expensive as well (on ladder at least).

I don't know about 1.09, but MF% exists as prefix and suffix, and both can appear on rings, amulets and circlets.

I don't know the max values, though... you'd have to look them up yourself.

in theory, yes. but the only dual mf affix item i've ever heard of was a 45% ammy, and no screenshot.

You can get a 50% circlet, but that's not what you'll want. Socketing it is a 50/50 gamble, and you'd end up with less than 100% MF (without burning two Ists.

What you'll want is a Jeweler's or Artisan's Tiara or Diadem of Luck. These can have 35% MF and 3 open sockets.

@ the one who had only heard of one dual MF item:

I have found two fortutious ring of fortune (39 and 37) and one fortutious ring of chance (or whatever, dual MF but still less than 30%) in single player in 1.10.

I have played a LOT though, probably 2000+ hours or even a lot more.

I've got a 43 and a 46% Ammy - and someone a while back had a 40% Ring that he wanted 2 ists for - at a time when ists were not yet duped...

Would take a lot to get my 46% away from me! :D

I have found a 50% MF Amulet personally, so it's possible. (I can get a screenshot if absolutely necessary, I traded it to a friend but I'm sure he wouldn't mind letting me ss it.)

A Shako with P Topaz gives 74% MF... that will be much better.

the circlet will have 2 sockets, although a tiara or diadem would get 3.

The minimum level to get the perfect MF amulet is iLvl 42 (perfect MF rings are lower). The Cathedral in NM is the first mLvl 42 area and the catacombs areas are all 43. You could start at the inner cloister and finish each run off by killing Andy and pray for that SoJ. :D

I'd recommend doing this with a level 56 character so you cube any 3 junk rings you find into an ilvl 42 amulet and vice versa. Simply gambling and cubing rings with a character at this level wouldn't be such a bad idea either.

So a level 56 character is much better opposed to a level 99 character. Maybe that's why I couldn't make one myself... oh, where'd you get 56 from?

The rings->ammy and ammies->ring recipes both produce items with ilvl = clvl * 75 / 100 (rounded down). The ilvl of the items you cube doesn't matter.
clvl 56 is the earliest that will get you an ilvl 42 result.
