4os poleaxe to insight or not

hey guys should i make a ethereal 4os poleaxe into insight

or should i wait to get an more exceptional version ?

That would depend on if you want your merc to do parts of the killing. As a sorceress, you will probably do the vast majority of the actual killing, and the insight can be in any type of weapon. Even if you rely on your merc to deal with immune monsters, you could still keep another weapon around to switch for the insight when those situations occur.

it annoyed me that i had to rely on mana pots during mf runs and such

Good choice on making it.

Don't forget that you can reuse that poleaxe as a nice low-level helper for questing through the game. I have 3 Insights that I use at various times... one in a Halberd that rocks for normal, another in a Partizan that's solid in Nightmare, and the third in an eth-Cryptic Axe. All three make the merc capable of killing things and generally keep my progress rolling along.

Yeah, I made an Insight in a Colossus Voulge and had to stuff my merc with Amethysts just so he could use it, and it was after level 80

Am using a Partizan Insight right now, works just fine

my merc is handling nm pretty well

until he gets iron maiden then he just rapes himself

lol

but the only annoying thing about insight is that i re equip alot for meditation to kick in

unless the merc dies, you shouldn't need to reequip it.
