47 Pit Runs

Well, it took forever, but I have finally completed my 47 Pit runs. (It was supposed to be 50, but I accidentally switched difficulty levels, thereby losing the map. I thought about using the ol’ –seed command, but I’ll wait on the official ruling before making that move.) :uhhuh:

All of the items were found by Grimm, who had 454 MF. His merc had a total of 122 MF, but didn’t do much killing at all. All of the runs were done on players 1.

what difficulty level was the 47 runs done on.

 

Hell. Just look at the drops, it's fairly easy to tell.

 

Just a question: Why did you do the runs on /players1? you would get more items to drop, thus increasing the chances of set/unique if you did on a higher setting. Perhaps /p3? I personally go on 8.

Too many potions drop at 8. Makes a mess of things difficult to see all the items. And speed is an issue.

My poision Necro can run players 4 the same as players 1. That is my personal sweet spot.

I am in the process right now of doing both a Baal and Pit run log. Right now, Baal seems to be the much more profitable place to go... not necessarily for high end items (yet ), but for more sets and uniques in general. I am going to switch my Pit map though as I am really unhappy w/ the one I did the first 20 runs on.

EDIT: Choke on my words... first Pit run on new map and walla!

Basically, I wanted to be consistent, and just give people an idea what they could expect on /p1. That, and Pit runs bore me to death, so I wanted them to be over that much sooner! :lol:

I'll do some experimenting before the next round, and juice the players appropriately. Right now, though, I am having more fun hunting Pindle, Mephy, and Baal.
