360 games

Yeah, I am behind the times but I won two 360 Elite systems in a contest at work. The games it came with do not interest me at all.

I went out and bought RE5 today but I would like some input on other games. I like survival horror and my son likes FPS.

Gears of War is fun, the sequel isn't as good but still enjoyable. My friend loves Devil May Cry 4, I'm waiting to borrow it. If you don't have Bioshock on PC it's worth it as an FPS. Other than that I play a mix of RPGs and other random games (some robot one, Guitar Hero, etc.).

For shooter campaign games, try Gears of War (co-op), Gears of War 2 (co-op), Call of Duty: World at War (co-op), Army of Two (co-op), Halo 3 (co-op), any other of the Call of Duty games have amazing campaigns, but are not co-op. Far Cry 2 is also amazing single player FPS if you can get into it.

Forza Motorsport 2 is an amazing racing game (but its a sim), GTA IV is also amazing, Dead Rising is great if you can get into it, Banjo Kazooie is really fun too, Fallout 3 and Oblivion are great if you can get into them, Ninja Gaiden 2 is fun as hell too.

Bioshock is a really superb FPS/horror game. Dead Space is similar, but isn't as inspired. The Orange Box gets you Half Life 2, both add-on episodes, Team Fortress 2 AND Portal. Both HL2 and Portal got a lot of love from the critics, but while I loved Portal, HL2 has never really grabbed me.

I've heard good things about Dead Rising. Although that's horror comedy.

If you're really looking for survival horror you're going to be disappointed by RE4. If action horror (plus *** anime-y cutscenes) is good enough then you'll be fine though.

You think you're behind the times, I just bought a PS2 and a GBA.
