35 skill points to split between CA and FA. What's the best ratio?

Self-explanatory title

Between Strafe and the Passives, my vamp would love to save a few points from CA/FA (and add then later, when she reaches clvl90+). Considering I want to dedicate 35 hard points to the cold skills, what would be the best ratio? Max FA, 15 CA, or max CA, 15 FA? Or a different split altogether?

+9. I have two bow skillers and I will probably use Lyc's Aim, Andy's Visage, and Highlord's. +5 to all skills I always like to have and that will be the bear minimum, I think.

If I can get enough ias from a Shaeled Lyc's Aim, 35% Andy's Visage, and 20% Highlord's (95% with a base 10 bow, enough for Strafe/FA?) I will also probably wear 'Peace' so that's an extra +2. If I need more IAS I'll then wear Treachery or a 45-60% IAS armor.

Another question, should I up the Lyc's Aim (for Strafe) or should I keep a different bow on switch for the skill? I was thinking WWS.

(note I'm SP and I don't have Faith and WF, at least not now and probably for a long while)

What Prion said. Max FA, rest CA.

Best will be Lyc's Aim for FA and upped WWS for strafe but keep in mind that having to switch weps all the time can be a pain (at least for me it is )

Just put weapons switch button to TAB so you have it closer to your hand :wink3:

@starlight: Up'd Lycan is actually a pretty ok strafe weapon, not as nice as the little strafe monster that wws is tough.

Remember that another way of increasing the freeze length of FA instead of putting pts in CA is using items with cold dmg on them, iirc each SC with cold damage add about 1/4 of a second in hell to the freeze duration, don't quote me though :wink3:

WWS's Amp and resists are too good to pass, I think I'll go with the Lycs (or Wizendraw)/WWS plan, yeah :thumbsup:

Oh and I think you are talking about Ice Arrow. Cold Arrow is the one that boosts FA's cold damage by 13% per point (iirc), while Ice Arrow is the one that boosts the freeze duration. But yes, each source of cold damage in your gear adds at least 1/4 of a second to the cold duration (Frostburn, EoE and others have a hidden cold lenght bonus which is/can be bigger than that). Thankfully I have a few decent cold damage charms :smiley:
