31 zealot?

31 zealot?

So I've got most of the stuff together to make a respectable 21 zealot... not nearly as nice as the one I had last season, but it's early enough that I should be able to tear things up.

However the problem I noticed both last season and season 2 with my 21 is that you're kind of in a bad place so far as common brackets go.

You do too much damage for the 18s to want to go near you, the eth snappers won't duel anything with a shield unless they have 6 levels on it, and the 27 chargers can 1 shot you... so you're pretty much stuck with kickers. Other zealots are rare, as are jabbers. Not that I have an issue dueling kickers, I'd just prefer to be able to take on the 27s without fluxing them 10 times before getting 1 shot.

So what I was thinking about maybe trying was a 31 zealot with coldsteel, rockstopper, and string. I think at that point I'd still be doing fairly similar damage to what my 21 does, but with a bunch more hp and of course 25% dr I'd be able to take a decent roll charge.

The thing I'm wondering about with such a build is whether or not I'd just be running into a similar problem, only getting 1 shot by eth steel drivers while never getting duels from insight/honour chargers (with a 4 lvl difference it'd be understandable) or something to that extent.

In my head it seems like a good idea, but at the same time I don't believe I've ever seen a 31 zealot, so what am I not thinking of?

Why not just join the honour group with a eth knout zealer? you would be their lvl, and pretty much everyone would at first take you as a charger.

Lvl 32 fury wolf! My fury wolf was my favorite to pvp with even though it wasnt as good as my lvl 35 hammerdin. But he had tons of life, tons of DS, and a lot of damage

i dont think there are any duel games up yet so youll be stuck pking baal runs most likely, in which case you are going to want a decent amount of res for those 40 trappers/cold sorcs and what not.

Res with 1h pallies is easy. Just get the good ol ~120 res shield on switch.
Plus I can self rush hell myself... not in a profitable time, but it is doable, so 3 anya quests.

ADSL, a few reasons:
1) Having not played the game for closing in on 2 years I'd forgotten you can make 1h honours. S-m-r-t.
2) Now that you've pointed it out I've been considering it... I'm thinking that might bump my damage to the point where I can kill the 2h chargers (given that I come pretty damn close with clegs)... but it'd still be a deathwish I think. Instead of fluxing 9 and then dying I might kill 9 then die... I like not dying because the less I die the less I have to MF, and I can be a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my characters so it's a lot of mf, and even more trading ^^
I will still consider it, and build the 21 for now... easy enough go from 21-27-31, skills/charms/portions of the gear stay the same anyways, stats go up, but I get more stat points too so meh.
3) Then I'd have to find a new eth knout every once in a while (presuming I manage to avoid getting 1shot by 2k pvp dmg). That sounds lame >.>

I got an eth honor divine scepter, i'm pretty sure its fast enough for zeal too. I get like 2800 charge without maxers in shield and 25 ds is nice.
