3 pally group....

    3 pally group....

    My friends and I are making a 3 pally (we are calling it the TRI PALLY). We are thinking of going hammerdin, zealer, and then my lil brothers maxxing might and charge and shield and something else I dont remember. Anyways, if you were making 3 pallys for a group what would you do? We are also going to get three of the aura mercs, so we wil have 6 auras on. I know I know, pimp.

    I did tried that combination with 2 friends in singleplayer using tcp/ip to connect to each other and it was a blast.

    Your suggestion is interesting but a little unballanced. Sooner or later you will find out the hammerdin is going to do all the killing. The charge bug is really annoying and your chargeadin friend will most likely hate his paly for pvm.

    holy freeze maxed out synergies zealer/charger to slow targets kill casters/ bowzons, (Foher pick of mid range attackers), hammerdin to make hammer wall for party.

    Personally, my choices would be :

    1. Tesladin
    2. Zealot [Fanaticism]
    3. Avenger [Conviction]


    Fana adds damage, speed & AR to all 3, conviction reduces Defense and Resists, and tesladins are fun.

    Alright, alright, I guess I'm going to be the oddball here...

    Paladin #1- Max Conviction, Fanaticism, Resist Cold
    Paladin #2- Max Conviction, Fanaticism, Resist Fire
    Paladin #3- Max Conviction, Resist Lightning, Salvation

    Give #1 4 points in Zeal and a set of Gimmershreds.
    Give #2 4 points in Zeal and a "Rift" runeword War Scepter.
    Give #3 Max Vengeance, with a Hellrack on switch.

    Make sure AT LEAST one of the three is running conviction at all times. If you want, have Fanaticism running, too, for the extra attack speed. Have the rest of your Pallies running the resist auras, based on what area you're in (i.e. if you're around Gloams, have ResLit active and make #1 run Conviction while #2 runs fanat). If you're around Megademons, have ResFire active and make #3 run Conviction while #1 runs Fanat.

    Why go through all that trouble? Because when you max the single-resist auras and run them, everyone in the radius gets +20% to their max resist for that element. Basically, turning on any of those auras gets the entire party to 95% resistance to that element. Pretty rad stuff.

    You've obviously never seen a Paladin under the effects of 100% fr/w and Vigor.
