    Just crossed the 1000 runs barrier. Average run times still around 23.2 seconds. Trying to push to get below 23s, but no luck so far.

    Today seemed TC3 day btw, at least the first 30 minutes of the 1:45 hour session.

    Keep on running everyone. At 34 participants, we have an impressive amount of runners. No doubt we'll get an impressive amount of HRs as well ...

    @T72on1 nice! I found tancreds boots and biggins bonnet within a few runs of each other.

    Over 10.5 hours in. Some interesting non-rune drops so far, but I will save them for the results thread.

    Couldn't play during the weekend, but yesterday I finally found a map. Still not the best that can happen, but adequate one. Toorc stays inside and the rest hang on the balcony. Not in a tight formation, though. After spending nearly four hours trying to find a good map, I was more than ready to settle with this one...

    Well, it was slow as I slaughtered the council every time. This netted me three lightning skillers so I know what's coming later :)

    The map I posted turned out not to be too comfortable for running. The "sweet spots" for landing – so that council doesn't move – were a bit tedious to target, due to some shorter teleports being necessary to hit them. I like to have maps where you can always teleport along the edge of the screen only, and land in pretty much same spot all the time. Much more relaxing.

    So at ~10 hours I took the other Trav Blizzy and rolled a few maps, this time found a winner within 20 minutes. It also delivers 5 runes per run:

    Also switched back to Shako to get close to ~170 MF for rare rings as @Gripphon mentioned.

    3 hours in, when did you say this round ends? :) Seriously, i really have to sacrifice something on the altair of rune drop gods, because i dont think i will make more than 10 hours...

    I'm a couple of hours in with my dual Grief WW barb...not sure if 20 hours is obtainable, but will give it a go. I am wayyyyy slower than the elite, so I'll just discuss the nitty-gritty inner workings of logic a bit the RNG, if I can get some time with her*.

    Yup, I'm claiming RNG is a she.

    Averaging 38 second runs, 1 hour in. Pretty sure I won't make a full batch considering I just got new tires for my motorcycle and the weather is finally getting warmer after the winter

    I'm 13:30 in with roughly 1:15 long runs on p1 with my barb :eek:. It's actually kinda relaxing just knowing my times are bad and just keeping on making progress toward the 20 hours.

    Hi guys, i'm back ! Passed the 5 HR mark, in about 12 hours :)

    Seriously, dropped some nice non-qualifiers - double Gull on switch helps for horking ! Besides an Occulus and a -5/+3 poison facet, got a +2 lightning FCR rare amulet, a metalgrid and a somehow nice Martial Arts circlet.

    I agree. After running with 140% initially, I switched a skiller to a Gheeds and 3 small life charms for mf charms, so I'm now at exactly 200% mf. Didn't influence my run times, and I got far more S/U. Including the Metalgrid I posted about earlier, which was a grailer for me. Something I haven't had in a long time, being at grail -13 (-12 now) and not doing pure mf runs.

    I hope to be able to do 2 or 3 more hours tomorrow, maybe a bit this evening. After that nothing until next week Monday or even later :(.

    I thought this was maybe something worth elaborating on, and I also saw a couple of comments about run times and leftover minions. So I was thinking why not make a short vid about a few little tricks to improve Travincal Blizzy running – maybe it helps if you're looking for ways to get the most out of your runs.



    There is an Ist rune visible in the inventory at one point – in case you're wondering, it's not a qualifier since the timer wasn't running while I did this.

    So, 20% of batch behind me, got my 5 qualifiers (hooray). Majority of them needs to be improved, hopefully the remaining 80% of the batch will be as good as the first part.

    Interesting. I didn't know there were such sweet spots. I land closer to them most of the times, thinking that it's best that the merc can engage as fast as possible.

    Haven't had time to actually listen to the video (would be a bit weird at work, no?). Will do so later. Thanks for sharing.

    Btw, I often have the impression that it's actually a good thing that they move, because Blizzard seems to kill better against moving targets. You just don't want them to spread out, which is something you can't really control except on a perfect map where they are all tied up in the corner.
