2014 Summer MFO Results Thread

Fabian, if you haven't done so already try moving the run counter, GoMule and D2 out of Program Files and into, say, My Documents. Program Files is write protected past Windows Vista and getting things to work on programs in there is not exactly easy. If there's a way to run GoMule as an administrator then that should work even with D2 in Program Files, but on my version of Windows (7) I completely failed to get that to happen after multiple attempts. :/

If you aren't using Windows then I have zero idea.

and it would be fascinating to see how (if) a Trav category could be done.

Travincal... yes it can be done, however I think of it as separated from MFO since it would be a RFO (rune find olympics) after all. Travincal RFO can be made no problem, only thing I wonder is will there be any interest in it. Several people expressed desire to have such competition, I would be interested in it too.

I think of similar system as MFO, top 5 runes bring score, and lowest we will include into score system is Mal rune. Drop probabilities are known and it should be fairly easy to determine value of each rune. What I don't know yet is should we include 1.07 Travincal in it or just 1.13. I don't know should there be any "prizes" like in MFO. Duration of 10 days is too long IMO, it should be 7 days maximum. Those are some of the ideas, but before I go through with it, I need to know will there be any interest, and I talk about "real" interest where people will run a bit, not only for 5 hours or whatever.

As for MFO, I won't claim any more items.
