Excellent list, Thyiad. One acronym I came across today that I wasn't sure the meaning of was DL, in reference to trading. Any ideas what it could be?

I swear you guys make these up to confuse me. Where was it Dii, I'll see if i can work it out nothing comes to mind immediately.

EDIT: I don't think he's a native English speaker so I am guessing "Buy it now". I'll keep an eye on the thread and see if he responds. If not, I'll PM him. Well spotted. *mutter* :wink3:

It was used in this post in the Europe Trade Forum. I'm pretty good with acronyms/abbreviations and such, but I couldn't figure this one out for the life of me.
Actually, in the Europe realm, FT (Fast Trade) = 'Buy It Now' price, so I don't think that's what he means by DL.

    ~Edit~
I was just thinking that perhaps he means he would consider that a closeable deal, whereas the FT would be an immediate trade.

Oooh, I've been separately stickied. It was IN the other sticky but great.

@Dii - I checked with the OP and DL is "closeable offer". I haven't the foggiest how he got from closeable to DL but I can only presume it's his native language. I'm not entirely sure the trade makes sense because he confirmed FT is For trade. *shrugs*

I'm not sure how he came to that conclusion either, but on Europe FT = Fast Trade, meaning they will trade that item imediately for the stated price without negotiations. Very similar to the "BIN" price on East and West.

Congrats on the sticky by the way.

You have got it wrong, it's "BIN" that is similar to "FT". And dl is closable but not right away, 10 hour DL means if no person overbids in 10 hours it's a deal :wink3:

That's what I said. FT is like BIN on east and west.

I figured DL was something referring to a 'closeable' price, but I hadn't actually seen that acronym used before.

    ~Edit~
Wait a second...you're just picking on me again, aren't you?!
