What kind of barb are you making?
Either way, I would max shout first. Iron Skin is a 'one point wonder.' You can add more to it later on if you want.

i'm going to agree with king about maxing shout first. with +skills your iron skin should be fine with only a couple points; dump extras here after you've maxed everything you need.

botd/beast is generally accepted as the best combo. but it really depends on what you're making. pvm or pvp? bvc or bvb? other equipment?

im making frenzy barb and im pvm which is why i was thinking dual botd axes id have pretty good leech then

Sorry I do not know much about Frenzy barbs. I guess dual eBotDs would be good. But I would use 1 BotD - 1 Beast for increased damage and AR [Not sure how outside IAS affects Frenzy tho]. You wouldn't need the Doom if you are using Holy Freeze Merc.Althought if you don't use that merc, Doom would be good crowd control.
Again, I don't play Frenzy barbs so don't take my word for it. I'm just attempting to help as best as I can.

I currently have an 83 frenzy barb (beastial) used for pvm on wl.
I'm using beast/botd. I tried the doom/botd but didnt like the low ar. The freezing aura is nice though, but beast fan aura is better imo.

too bad my babas gonna get rebuilt. all stats in vitality! o yeah!

dual botd would be nice. but the ar would be a tad bit low for my taste.

which armor would you be using? pvp or pvm?

I was thinking coh but some people say go with enigma but Im not sure i havent seen any facts on to which is better for my build

coh for pvm which is what my barb is currently using.
900+ def in arch plate. coh doesn't give a "big" def bonus but is nice for the res, and +skills, the ed to demons plus the dr is just icing on the cake. imo the best pvm arm for melee chars. both my barb and zeal pally pvm use coh.
still depends on what you're going to be doing.

coh doesn't really give anything useful in pvp except for +skills, and dr, but dang with enig you get all those and tele! a better choice...

I, on the other hand, could not imagine a Diablo II without PvP Duels. There's more satisfaction in killing an "uber" Paladin than there is of killing a Fallen.
