    2 Handed PVP

Back in 1.09, I was able to obtain a Cruel Thunder Maul of Quickness, and proceeded to socket it with 2 40/15ias jewels and subsequently make a VERY effective 2 handed pvp druid.

Is a build like this still viable today? What would be the best 2 handed weapon to use for damage and speed?

An eth botdtm only has 60 ias, while the ctmoq has 70. Could I still reach high enough speeds in order to compete in high end pvp?

Popular two handed weapons nowadays for a fury build are more along the lines of a ebotd great poleaxe, or the top end peice of equipment, the ethereal zod/2x ed ias jewel'ed tomb reaver. The ebotdgpa (and your CTMoQ) hit a 9/5 fury, same as you'd get with an ebotdz (or a grief pb, if memory serves), while the eth tomb hits 7/4, or 6/4 if you zod shael shael it.

You wont want to have just a 2 hander. Tack on a stormshield and atleast a shael banaras on switch if you cant afford a good 1 hander.

You simply wont last long vrs good melee without that shield, even with range advantage. Weapon switches will save ya!
