@Jamie Thanks for stopping by! Yea, not quite what I was looking for, but I'm still interested in trading for it. Are you looking for something in particular?

 

@TopHatCat64 I am on my phone right this second. I will have to go through my characters and amass a list.

The issue I have here, is that I have no idea what the value of this helm is. I personally value it as kind of high, just because of the rarity of finding a +5 BO and +6 Item Find on one helm. Of course the socket quest makes it somewhat of a gamble. I don't have much wealth on this SP go around, so I would favor trading this for several more useful things that aren't so rare.

Do you have an idea on the value of something like this? In the item find thread, a few people seemed to find it pretty nice. I just hate having no idea on the value and not wanting to insult you by overpricing it a ton or to give it away for free. I haven't seen one like this around in a long time. I think it's kind of a rarenesss versus value thing.

If you or anyone else reading this, has a general idea of the value or rarity at least, I would love to know what they think.

Things that I am currently wanting the most:
- a good trapper claw, magic or rare, with as much LS and ias as possible. Bonus for +Shadow Warrior/Master. No IAS is okay if it's high LS, particularly a 2 os or magic unsocketed yet. But any good claw will outdo my current crappy one.

- Sur or Ber Runes or Infinity(trying to currently make one). I cubed all my Sur/Ber to make Enigma and then find a Jah immediately after when I was going for Infinity -.-. So I have a Jah and Sur as my high runes and am wanting to work towards Infinity.

Sorry I didn't realize you posted until I got your inbox message. My computer is being frustrating right now too.

I have interest in the Trap Skillers, Cat's Eye and/or Highlord's.. not sure which i would prefer.. cat eye I'm kinds thinking if I am going Amazon w.o an Enigma, but Highlord's is nice too and more suited for other melee chars. I am interested in the Giant Skull for sure.

The Sin Claws won't offer me really any upgrade from what I currently have.

So the skillets, cat's eye and giant skull are the main things I like on there. I'm not on my computer at the moment.

What do you find the helm to be worth compared to those? I know it's a niche item and I would love to have it when I get wealthier and use on a Trav/Pit Barb and I know the mods it spawned are quite rare. I can get the skull and cat eye for bowzon, but that is a distant project. I was really hoping for some trapper upgrades.

What is your idea of the items I picked out vs the helm? Is that the only trapper claws you have? Or at least willing to spare?

I am clueless on prices, that is why I am hoping your vast knowledge and time playing could help make a good match for your stuff against mine.

Honestly, I'd be fine trading the skillers, the cat's eye, and the giant's skull for the echoing helm. They're collecting dust in my stashes, so I'd be happy to send them along to someone who's going to use them.

Those trapper claws are the best I have, unfortunately.

In terms of it's actual value, I did a little digging and it appears that Arreat's Face is the best choice for Trav barbs and Cham'd Shako is the way to go for Pit zerker barbs. Your helm is actually pretty close the best alternative for pit barbs, but it would have to be found in 1.07 so it could get 3 sockets from Larzuk (otherwise, you can't go Ist/Ist/Cham and match Shako's 50 MF). Long story short, it's useful, but not best-in-slot useful.

I'm mainly interested in your helm as a collector's item, because I have a fondness for magic items that give 4+ to a single skill.

 

@TopHatCat64 I feel bad throwing it out and maybe wanting too much for the helm, but the rarity of it makes it hard for me to flip and I really like what it can bring to the table, even if Shako and Arreat's(I have one w/ a 38ed/7FHR jewel in it and this helm on baba).

I was thinking I would get rid of it easier, seeing how my baba has taken a backseat to my zealer and trapper lately and I thought I was going to build a bowzon, but that I realized is far off and I have cancelled that project.

This might be way overpriced, but +6 and +5 useful skills on a helm with a +3 shout and all WCs even, is definitely a cool helm and I know I would probably find most of the unique items before I even need them.

I do like the trap charms, but I would really want a claw that offers at least 4 or 5 to the trap I am using and IAS, if I'm going to get rid of a helm with 5 and 6.

I don't know how much you really want the helm, but I really want to make an Infinity and I am sitting on Jah, Ber, Sur and then 2x Gul, Mal and then bunches of Um and below.

If you could part with a Sur Rune and the 2 trapper charms, I would part with the helm and would throw in runes(Gul+Mal?) If you needed to make up difference. Idk if I am overvaluing the helm, but I know it's super rare, I'm fond of it and I just want to get something I'm going to be able use soon and although I know I could get one from LK eventually, I am struggling to find the time to do it and Mal and Um is all I have gotten recently and I am getting impatient lol.

Maybe we won't be able to meet on this one right now and will have to come back to it later. I thought I wanted the bowzon stuff, but I realize she is so far off right now and will prolly find those items by then.
