    1.11 Runewords question

I was wondering, can classes other than the intended one wear the runeword armors?

Example, say a barbarian wearing Treachery, the runeword armor meant for assasins, for the 45% IAS. Aslo, would the % chance for fade and venom activate for other classes?

    Yeah, definately.

Treachery is one of the best armors for a bunch of melee classes and even mercenaries, but not Assassins.

Oh good, that will help my characters a lot. For some dumb reason, I thought maybe the items became class specific or something.

I wonder which other armors would go well for other classes. I'm sure everyone would like a level 15 valk from the Peace runeword, just stand in the fire for a few seconds ;)

    Re: 1.11 Runewords question

Myth is an extremely cheap armor that can be used by the poorer barbarians for BO prebuff.

Peace is kinda "meh", especially since you have to HIT an enemy to trigger the Valk proc, and if you take Peace off, the Valk goes poof.

Just a quick addendum to this question:

Does the CTC skills from the 1.11 runewords such as the level 17 valk skill on peace only activate on physical damage, or does magical damage also count as a "hit"?

Only physical damage - also missile weapons.

    Re: 1.11 Runewords question

The type of damage doesn't matter, it's the type of attack that matters. Spells will not cause this to trigger, but direct attacks (Swinging a weapon, throwing a weapon, shooting a weapon, etc) will.
