    1.10s cta stats

    i'm interested in famouse ''beta cta'' so if someone who have it can post it's stats. or someone knows the difference without having it.

    Here's the one I used to have:

    That's about as good as they get, btw. I don't remember the exact range, but a bad roll on a beta CTA is better than a perfect roll on a later version.

    I edited the wiki to include the ranges a long time ago, but that seems to have been changed. If I remember right, they are 5-20 for Battle Command, 5-15 for Battle Orders, and 10-13 for Battle Cry.

    Nagi's right. Apart from that, also note that it's +2 All Skills, not +1.

    That's a wide range, but as maareek says a bad roll is still pretty good relative to contemporary stats.

    This is one of those items I've been meaning to make for a long time, but I kind of got "stuck" in 1.07 and haven't really made runes a top priority. I need one more rune in a prior version to 1.10s...

    Holy + skills, Batman... I wish I had been aware of the PWNage on the beta CtA before I burned my Ohm in a 1.13 CtA!!!

    You can't use an Ohm found in 1.13 in 1.10... you can only bring stuff forward in version number.

    Here's a post with four of them. It should be noted that the AmnRalMalIst 'Call to Arms' is 1.10a, and can't be used in future patches. The AmnRalMalIstOhm version in 1.10s is the one that can be brought forward. (...or at least, I think that's right.)

    I thought that item abilities were never changed when versions change, but you need to be in 1.10a in order for the code to create the item the way you want to.

    Well, that's not the case, otherwise everyone on the SPF and their mothers would have a Beta 'CtA'. :p

    @Nagi: Is it just me, or does the %ED on the 1.10a 'CtA' version seem different from the 1.10s/1.10+ as well?

    EDIT: Now that I've stopped drooling for the umpteenth time over the prospect of stealing your CTA, it's probably just because the Ohm rune is missing in the 1.10a stats.

    (While we're on the topic, the %ED for 'Crescent Moon' is better in the beta patches.)

    The attributes will not change when the runeword is brought forward in versions, unless that combination of runes in that particular item no longer counts as a runeword in the later version, which is the case with the 1.10a CTA. Also the case with older CTAs, as well as almost all the 1.07 runewords and some other items.

    Ok, so I could make and bring forward a 1.10a Crescent Moon, but not a 1.10a CtA?

    ...hardly seems worth the trouble of putting a 1.10a install on my computer, then. Maybe I'll just work on getting a 1.07 install for rolling circlets...
