Diablo IV, Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 Forums - Diabloii.Net
I - after years literally - managed to reinstall Diablo 2 with 1.07 patch. Huh!
I got bored with 1.13, especially as the 1.14 never coming out despite Blizzard's promise (unless D3 is supposed to be that). Never had an 1.07 char who beaten Hell (maybe except a druid), and especially never had a non-hammer pala who passed the game (highest was an 1.13 untwinked zealot who had the restriction to use only Wirt's Leg, got halted at Hell Arreat Summit).
So I start a paladin. Having no save to unlock HC-mode, this technicaly will be SC, but "goes until first death", or at least will try not to die.
Will be untwinked for the most part, but if it reach high enough, I'll look for crafted items, and do a TinHead from it gearing up Safety Crafted all over it. One can only dream.
Started yesterday, and 'cause the p1 restriction won't be fast, and I am not sure if this is the right part of the forum to post - and seek advice! - but here it goes. It'll be an Avenger, just for the heck of it.
