      Noticeable differences are shadows and texture of bushes. Though I fail to differentiate betweel "low" and "medium" bushes, and I absolutely can not see "smooth" ground Strom is talking about - there are still dark and light green patches, and still high-frequency noise between them. If this is not texture, I do not know what is... One thing that's hardly visible, though, is density of foliage sprites, which are, again, controlled by separate sliders...
