Oh fine, convo it is. I'm still confused by this forums structure. Maybe I am a bit of a hag but not so bad that my armpithair tries to bit into my deodorant. (No one ever tells you exactly how impractical snake hair is)

Not sure. I can't even get our student to read a children's book....some struggle even with a picture book although I agree that there are many holes in the plot of the Very Hungry Caterpillar. Which Evilfury are you btw? I have not read the odyssey but I know some bits and bobs (no not that one) about Greek mythology.

To this day I have not the foggiest idea of what in particular an EvilFury is... I cobbled the name together by referencing the quote that Deckard Cain says after you smash Mephistos Soul stone (Hes Says: "Surely Diablo sensed the Fury Unleashed When you smashed his brothers Soulstone..." And evil is in reference to the fact you lay foot to ass in Diablo 2 fighting your way through the game...

I could strike up a convo and type up page for page of the book rendition i have... (I don't know how true the book i have is to the original work though...) you would want me to?

oooh, the Odyssey! Homer's, I hope? I've not read it. Don't tell anyone. I'm a lousy reader. I read slow. Very slow. And I have the memory of a goldfish. I'm very fond of some of Pratchett's Discworld but not so much the later books. And the Cadfael novels by Ellis Peters. And, cliche but I read them before it became a hype, Harry Potter. You?

The way Homer describes conversation in the Odyssey is perhaps one of the ways I partake in discusson... but it throws people for a loop that I don't do it unless the moment in conversaton calls for it...

You've lost me again. I tried Dune. It didn't go well so I didn't read it. Then I asked my ex - when he was not my ex yet - on a night I couldn't sleep to tell me what's so great about it. When it came to the worm's vomit I was laughing quite badly and never got any sleep.

I read you, I can refrain from further discussion of it upon request if you'd want :D I don't want to metaphorically "Throw the book at you" ( Meaning ...Spout facts about the book chatting on and on about the book Dune)

Not that I'm aware of - while we're friends, he is my ex. Don't even ask me what a Guild Navigator is, I suppose it's some sort of niche SatNav.

        Evilfury
A Guild Navigator is a Fictional character in the Dune Books/movies... This being is saturated in Spice Melange in such pure concentration, that they have the ability to perceive in such a way that they possess what is coined "the all seeing eye" and are able to "fold" space and transport a mass..

Ah. I've not told you this. I do not click on links. I get mostly bad experiences so I no longer do. So I'm not sure what else he can do. He can do taxes, which is presumably the same as warping time and space.

You ever see the 1984 Movie Dune? The Guild monopolists have in their capability to have their minds move in strange directions... (The Bene Gesserit Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam has said when she toughed their mind when they were paying the Emperor a visit in the movie..)

Not quite sure I got that. I'm not very funny myself, although several people have told me there's something funny about me. Seperating from ones donkey is, however, never a good idea so maybe you want to rectify that (sounds equally painful, I know).

I like figures of speech a little too much for my own good if i could figure for i confuse perhaps plenty of times some i chat with... i don't intend for it to happen but the exchange can be humorous for those involved when the thing in question I'm able to explain to them... I like wisdom sayings the most in addition to funny ones...

As for the sunflower, I wrote somewhere why it's there: because of something that happened to me. As it's a kind story I may repeat it one day, but it reminds me of kindness and never to give up hope.

The mystery book image made me chuckle, thanks. My humour or what I find funny can be observed all around my posts, though to be honest I nick most my jokes and puns, but only the really good ones.
