Blizzard just tweeted and posted a teaser image on their facebook page for something that will be coming soon to Diablo3.com. What it is we don´t know, but my guess is that it is the Armory.

Diablo 3’s facebook page had been teetering on the verge of surpassing 2 million fans – a feat they finally accomplished today. And that’s not all! In thanks to everybody’s dedication, 4 images have been created… for your facebook banner! Assuming that you already have a plethora of desktop wallpapers to choose from, you can now adorn your personal page with either Azmodan or the Tristram Cathedral.

More updates to the site continue to roll in as the beginning of the promotional material makes its appearance. With the new short story we recently reported, there is new promotional content that will reward viewers with the ability to unlock special sigils for their banners – one for each class. As we count down the weeks to the release of Diablo III, there will be more updates unlocked.

A few readers have pointed out that the Diablo Facebook page has returned to life after a few weeks of inactivity following the disappointing 1m likes milestone, and that new artwork has been going up. It’s artwork, but it’s not new; all of the recent images were sent out during their march to 1m phase back in May.

We’ve all been debating for weeks, offering up our own ideas of what Blizzard would roll out in celebration of reaching the monumental milestone of 1 million likes on the official Facebook page. Many hoped for some gameplay footage, some were even hopeful for a beta date announcement . Others joked we may simply get wallpapers of previously seen artwork. Oh, how we laughed.

So it finally happened after paid we now have the 1 millionth like. The last few ransoms came quickly, and as I and many others watched it come closer and closer the likes just got faster and faster. What will this bring later I wonder?
