A player JDance, out to raise botting awareness has been streaming himself multi-boxing 4 different botting sessions at once all evening on Twitch.tv. He’ll undoubtedly be taken down and banned for the effort, but if you want to check it out while it lasts, click through for the embedded player.

The issue of botting has been around Diablo 3 for a long time, but has become much bigger in recent months as new and improved bots let players cheat the system more effectively. Unlike in the Diablo 2 days, Diablo 3 botting isn’t really done for legendary items (since those drop so fast during normal play), or even for EXP (since high level multiplayer games earn it 50x faster than solo).

Blizzard held the last of their current series of Play it Your Way Thursday live streams last week, but there were technical issues with two crashes during the recording, and the VoD of the video was not made available after the show. If you missed it live, there’s been no way to see it until now, when the video went online this morning

Blizzard has announced their next livestream is coming up this week on Thursday. The special Friday edition of Play Your Way Thursday is now underway and streaming live with four Wizards banging through T6 Rifts. The show began at 4pm Pacific time, and features four players: Prfly is the build of the month, showing off his mixed element Wizard build. He’s joined by Blizzard software engineer Roger Hughston, Bnet Wizard forum MVP Jaetch, and Nevalistis.

The final Play Your Way livestream of the year went off this afternoon, hosted by CM Nevalistis and D3 developer John Yang, along with players Neinball and Abachio, whose non-Marauder DH was the featured build on the show. It was a Demon Hunter fest, with all four players running that build, and much of the conversation focused on recent and upcoming changes for the Demon Hunter, including skills that have been tweaked (Nightstalker), current changes to Marauder’s Set, upcoming changes to Natalya’s Set, DH items, and more.
