A selection of recent Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls fan comics; the game itself or the community reaction to it. There’s a fish weapon, a forum hater, no more Auction House, those friends who have way too much free time, and more. Always moar…

Diablo Comic: Welcome Back the Old Flame

The extremely positive reception of D3v2 has caused a ripple down effect, as disappointed Diablo 3 players who had been turning to other games, perhaps other ARPGs, are returning to D3 in droves, with Reaper of Souls just around the corner. That’s the theme Nerf Now comic, which you can see below.

Video Game Companies as People

Oddly-amusing cartoon making the rounds lately, with an artist’s vision of what video game companies would look/act like if they were people. That description is probably incomprehensible, so I hope you’re not surfing from some weird location that blocks images loading, or this post isn’t going to make any sense at all. Here are the pics for Blizzard and Activision; click through for the full image which includes EA, Sony, Valve, Nintendo, and others.

In other Diablo 3 Merchandise news, two interviews with the creators of the ongoing Diablo III comic book, Sword of Justice, are now available. The first issue of the comic was released back in late November, and received good reviews from IGN and from me. There are three more issues to come, so check out the Diablo3.net.pl (scroll down and click “original interview” for the English), and at (scroll down for the English). Here’s a quote:

Diablo Comic #1 Reviewed

Thanks to The Eliminator for pointing us to IGN Comics, where the first review of the first issue of the Diablo III Sword of Justice comic book series is now online. The review doesn’t sound super-positive, but the review score is 8.0/10, which is pretty good. A quote:

Unicorn Diablo Comic

Coffin Comics made a post quoting some of the data mined info from the Diablo III beta client, the type of stuff that’s been filling up our Diablo 3 Beta forum for the past week, and topped it with a cute picture that you can see below. (Thanks to HK3K for the tip.)
