Blizzard’s Favorite Diablo 3 Easter Eggs

There’s an interesting article from The Escapist about Blizzard’s Favorite Diablo 3 Easter Eggs. Thanks to Fmulder for spotting it. New Blizzard Game: Blizzard OutCasts!

New Blizzard Game: Blizzard OutCasts! Blizzard has announced a new game, much like Heroes of the Storm, but instead of the main characters from all Blizzard games, this one stars the sidekicks. There’s no character list yet, but the wallpaper they used to debut the title shows off a super-buff Deckard Cain and a battle-ready Treasure Goblin, plus various Elves and Terrans and whatnot from their other lesser franchises.

Book of Tyrael Artist Reflects on His Struggle

Thanks to Fmulder for pointing us to artist Petar Meseldzija, who posted a couple of interesting blog entries about his illustration work in the Book of Cain and the Book of Tyrael. Petar shares preliminary and final versions of the artwork he created, plus some details about the struggle along the way. Interestingly, the Diablo universe isn’t really his style; it’s darker than he usually works, so he had to struggle to create pieces of the correct style for the new book.
