Jay Wilson from Leipzig #10

A new (?) video interview with Jay Wilson from Leipzig has popped up on a Swedish gaming site. It’s nicely-edited, has good sound/video quality, and no annoying interviewer filming himself. In this one Jay talks about health globes and potions, randomization of areas and quests, heroic character actions, and more. It’s about 5 minutes in length, with lots of gameplay scenes and clips from the cinematic to enliven the viewing experience. Thanks to CTH for the tip.

Jay Wilson @ Crispy Gamer

A new interview with D3 lead Jay Wilson has been posted today. The interview seems to be another one from Leipzig, but that’s not made clear. It’s an odd one, since it appears to be the same interview they previously posted on their D3 network site. That one was much longer and far more detailed though, but only available in German.

Jay Wilson from Leipzig #2

Gamespy has posted their own StarCraft. This one is less a conversation about game mechanics and more a standard Q&A, with quotes from Jay about the features we’ll see in Battle.net 2.0, the state of the RPG genre, randomizing level design, D3’s planned financial model, and how D3 might handle PvP.
