Blizzcon Interview: Wyatt Cheng and Rob Foote

Well known Monk player and streamer Quin69 conducted an interview with Wyatt Cheng and Rob Foote at Blizzcon last weekend, and he has now posted the video for all to see. Topics include density lag, paragon points cap (no), Augmented Gem options, loot tables, Area Damage, Rift variety/density/balance, LMB and RMB mapping options, UI mods and add ons, and microtransactions on the US/EU servers.

Blizzard’s Official Patch 2.4 Preview

Blizzard has posted the promised Patch 2.4 preview, which they said (during the Blizzcon panel) would be live for testing on the PTR next week. There’s a ton of new stuff, including revamped item sets, dozens of new legendary items, new stash space earned via the Season Journey, new tilesets and dungeons, tons of new bounties, and much more.

Diablo 3 patch 2.4 details and panel video – PTR next week

It was depressing to see that Diablo 3 didn’t get much of a mention in the opening ceremony; it really does feel like the bastard child Blizzard wants to keep locked in the cellar. Despite it being pretty much ignored at the start of the event, the Blood and Treasure panel did bring a load of new information for Diablo 3 patch 2.4 and there’s a lot of changes and new content coming. No hint of an expansion at all but perhaps Blizzard has had a rethink about how they want to introduce content and how often based on the additional content being added in patches.

Linkin Park to Close Blizzcon 2015

Blizzard have just announced that Linkin Park, the ‘biggest band on Facebook’ will be taking to the stage on the evening of Saturday November 7th to close off this year’s event.  The comments on the official site suggest they are a popular choice.  If you’re not attending in person, fear not, you’ll be able to watch the set via a BlizzCon Virtual Ticket costing $39.99 which also gives you access to all the panels, interviews and general show chat across the two days.
