Lots of updates lately to the Diablo Wiki, but don’t fear; most of them can be viewed without massive spoilers. Most of them….

Fmulder knew the truth was out there, and he found it, in the form of additional D3 Team interviews about Followers. Here are four more we hadn’t seen previously; two in Korean, one in French, and one in Italian. The links below are to the Google translations, which are fairly readable; more for the French/Italian than the Korean.

In this episode Flux speaks with Wolfpaq, DiablosMinion, and The Eliminator about the the newly-revealed Followers system. The majority of the guests, and the host, are fairly displeased with the Normal-only/single player-only implementation of D3?s potentially awesome Mercenary system.

On top of everything else, @Diablo tweeted up a few game info replies on Friday, during our live chat. (This seems to happen every other week, during the chat.)
Jay Wilson recently spoke to Gamestar.de in an interview focused chiefly on the Followers. The interview was posted in German, and while this would ordinarily have been big news and we’d have devoured the Google translation and asked fluent site readers to supplement that, that didn’t seem worth the trouble given that it was posted the same day as half a dozen other new interviews, all of which were in English.

We chatted on Monday, during the conference call (and had over 1100 people in the chat at the height), but now that there’s news about Followers, we’re going to do it again. Check out the movie, all of the screenshots and images, and look for more info to be released later today.
Blizzard has updated the official Diablo 3 site with a Followers page. It includes the Followers movie and some of the screenshots we’ve already posted, plus a Followers FAQ. It doesn’t convey any new info, but you may enjoy the read. A quote:
Here’s all of the Followers Artwork, for your visual pleasure. Some of these images are super HQ ones from the Followers press pack, while others (the in-game views) are screencaps of the followers movie. There are even three giant sized views of the character windows for each follower; those you could also see in the movie… but not this large! They’re in the interface gallery.
Blizzard sent out a huge visual package along with the Followers material. It includes a HQ version of the Followers movie, 10 screenshots, 3 views of the various Follower’s interfaces, and 3 pieces of concept art. We saw the concept art and the interfaces pretty clearly in the leaked movie yesterday, but the screenshots are exceptional. I’d say these are the best Diablo III screenshots we’ve ever seen, but my judgment is probably skewed by the fact that these show new stuff, after we’ve endured endless repeats of the same Blizzcon demo areas/monsters/skills/etc, since like, 2009.
As Blizzard did with the male Demon Hunter earlier this year, they seem to be farming out the new Followers information via interviews. There are four interviews (so far) and a massive amount of new info contained in them. Here are bullet points of the core, key new stuff that I culled from all of the interviews.
