Torment Difficulty Scaling Graphs and Charts

The huge leap in monster hit points on T7+, and especially in T10, is obvious when you play or look at the actual figures. In a nutshell, when you go up to T10 the monsters don’t gain that much in exp value or gold find value, and they don’t do much more damage, but their hit points skyrocket.

Blizzard Previews Patch 2.3: Adventure Mode

Blizzard has posted another preview of some of the big changes coming up in Patch 2.3. Adventure Mode has a lot of changes (almost all improvements) and the preview discusses streamlined crafting recipes, much faster Infernal Machine harvesting, improvements to Bounties and Bonus Acts, and changes to Rifts and Greater Rifts (no more Realm of Trials).

Torment 7-10: Benefits of Higher Difficulty

One topic that came up on the Podcast was the issue of Torment 10, and if the higher difficulty was worth the effort. Experience greatly increases on the higher torment difficulty levels that are added to the game in Patch 2.3.0, but how do the other benefits such as higher legendary drop rate, more cache materials, better KeyWarden KeyMachine drops, more material drops, etc, stack up?

Diablo 3 Strategy: Demon Hunter “Arctic Zoo” Build

Blizzard offered up an interesting build in this week’s “Play Your Way Thursday” with a build title that sounds like a Witch Doctor, but is for a Demon Hunter semi-awkwardly sandwiching two different types of builds into one package. I found it interesting as a DH build that’s not just the standard anti-pewpewpew “cast multiple sentries and run around until while they kill things” approach.
