Lucky number TDP #13 is here, and it’s all about playing Diablo III. In this episode I interview three fans who did just that at Blizzcon 2008, 2009, and/or 2010. These interviews are entirely about the PvM demo, since we previously posted their memories of the PvP demo, plus a conversation about the show in general.

All three guests talk about their pre-show excitement and what it was like to finally get their hands on Diablo III. Hear about their favorite and least favorite classes, memorable gameplay moments, what they thought about the DiabloWikiArt Controversy when they saw the game in person, how they liked the sound effects and music, if they bothered with items or just wanted to kill kill kill, and much more. The three interviews are edited to just the good stuff, so the whole show runs just over 50 minutes, and it’ll give you a better sense of what it’s like to play Diablo III than you currently possess. (Unless you work for Blizzard, in which case I should have been interviewing you. Come on, you know you want to… PR can’t keep you locked up forever!)

  1. I really don’t think Blizzard would try to work on two new MMO’s at the same time, they would stretch their resources too thin.  They might be exploring the possibility of a Starcraft MMO but no serious work will begin on it until Titan is released which will probably be a couple more years at least.

An article over at http://www.titanwatch.net said it would be early 2014 based on the timeframes from their prior games and everything else we currently know about Titan.  It seems like a reasonable guess.
