The Diablo Facebook Ransom is Paid: Part III

Diablo’s FaceBook page clicked past 600k “likes” this morning, and the first (of several, hopefully) images has gone up. It’s an interesting piece of monster concept art. Alas it’s not new; it first appeared during BlizzCast 6, back in November 2008, and has been in our gallery ever since. It’s even got a wiki page.

Let’s hope for a newer replacement, or at least a screenshot to go along with it?

Update: Nothing else added to the Facebook page, but Blizzard mailed out a new screenshot to the fansites. It shows a female DiabloWikiMonk using dual fists to cut her way through a circle of DiabloWikiDark Vessels.

It’s an awesome shot, so much so that I cropped out the central action and put it below. Note the Cultist to the left; he’s been literally cut in half, with the lower body still standing there and the upper sprawled to the ground over to the side.

Click the shot for the full size shot, and click that to see it full sized.
