The Patch 2.3 Preview is blowing up with new content, and it’s all discussed on this show. Kanai’s Cube and all the new legendary passives, Torment 7-10, the Ruins of Sescheron, combat tweaks, removed Wave of Trials, and more. Featuring Flux, AdAstra, and Tyr.
2:45 — Ruins of Sescheron. Playable in last year’s Blizzcon demo. What will this new level be like?
9:10 — Crafting improvements. Materials combined and blue/yellow recipes reduced in number and all scale to Clvl when you create the item. What about legendary and set recipes?
13:30 — Adventure Mode improvements. New bounty caches? Big bonus for full game clear?
18:10 — Seasonal Journey. New organization system for Achievements. Easier to figure which need to be done?
22:50 — Torment 7-10. Will legendary drop more or just +EXP? Will they progress more per level than T1-T6? What about 100% drop odds on T6 for Uber Organs and Cache legendaries?
35:30 — No more Realm of Trials. Select your level of Greater Rift. What about solo vs. party level selection?
39:00 — More/new Legendary Items. No hints yet about which skills will be the focus of the new Monk, Witch Doctor, or Crusader sets.
40:30 — Combat balances. No more perma-CC on monsters. Rebalancing the clear time for Rifts; buffing trash mobs and nerfing Guardians?
44:20 — Kanai’s Cube theorycrafting. Which items will be the most popular to feed for the Cube passive bonus? RoRG? The Furnace? Unity? Immunity amulets? Is the Witch Doctor the biggest recipient of this feature, with more than doubled minion damage?
1:00:00 — Does Kanai’s Cube fix the Ancient Weapon problem? No more needing to find super-rare weapon that must be Ancient for your build to work. Why can’t class-specific weapons be cross-class accessed? Most wouldn’t work cross-class anyway.
1:09:00 — Paging Dr. Goldilocks. Why is every season either too long or too short?
