Welcome friends to the latest installment of The Dark Library. This week we have a few more pieces of fiction from the halls of this great library. Without further interruption let?s begin.
We start this week with the sequel to Bane; Hero of the North that is written by Bane. It is called Bane; The Writings of Sanett and Chapter 1: Becoming a Man.
He could taste the blood as his split lip poured it into his mouth. It feels as if he has a broken jaw. With tired eyes he looks up into the sky, and at the peaks soaring towards it. Only this morning he had done the same thing, with the boy he was now fighting against.
Next up this this time around is Chapter 11: The Valley of Whispers from the book Winds of the Kae Huron by Nephilim.
M’avina had absolutely no desire to spend the night in that cave. She would have rather stayed in the cold than come inside and spend it here. She protested only once, saying that perhaps more goatmen were in the area and could come back in the night, but she didn’t really believe that. But in that cave, there was nothing but despair, hopelessness, and futility.
Last but not least is Chapter 24: Ral from the Book; The Key by Tamrend.
Father Rehan?s head slipped out of his palm and he jerked awake. Groaning, he shook the snow from his clothing. The sky above was steely gray, faintly lit in the east by the newly risen sun. The snowfall had slowed to a quiet dusting of flakes, but when he wriggled out of the narrow gap between buildings where he had taken refuge, the soft powder came up above his knees.
Next week we will bring you more from the fan fiction community in the same conveniently posted bite-size format as well as some works from fan monster and fan class creators. If you have made fan fiction that has not yet been posted in the Diablo fan fiction forum, or just got inspired to do so, head over there and post your material, or ask questions to other fan writers regarding lore, writing style or other input. See you next week!
