Welcome Diablo fans to the latest installment of The Dark Library. This week we have a few more pieces of fiction from the halls of this great library. Without further interruption let?s begin.

We start off this morning with Chapter 10: The Gate (Part I) from Bane: Hero of the North by DiabloWikiBane. This is the first part of a 6 part ending to the story. Here is a little from that first part.

The eruptions of fire from outside the complex had deepened his mood. The room was dark, and the true form of Horthis sat on his giant throne, his large thick boned figure finding comfort with difficulty.

Next up is the second half of the first chapter from The Fall of Nightmares (Revisited) by DiabloWikiKire.

Melatras, the Abode of Scholars, as many people called it. Sri-Kurah had heard stories about the city, but none compared to actually being there and witnessing the sight before him. But here he was, he and his sister, two fifteen-years olds in a world away from their small village in this bustling world in its own.

Continuing on from there this morning is the third chapter of Fulcrum by DiabloWikiAnyee.

We?d always assumed the magic would be there, that the forces of nature, the elementals, the spirits of the damned and blessed alike would come when bidden to our fingertips.

Last but not least is Chapter 9: The Mountain Clan from Winds of the Kae Huron by DiabloWikiNephilim.

Sleeping in the mountains was hard. No one had ever pretended that it wasn’t the case. Even the Barbarians, who were used to it. It took a good deal of mental energy for M’avina to ignore the howling wind and invasive cold.

Next week we will bring you more from the fan fiction community in the same conveniently posted bite-size format as well as some works from fan monster and fan class creators. If you have made fan fiction that has not yet been posted in the Diablo fan fiction forum, or just got inspired to do so, head over there and post your material, or ask questions to other fan writers regarding lore, writing style or other input. See you next week!
