Patch 2.2.1 is now live on the PTR for testing. There are minimal feature changes in this patch; it’s mostly about performance improvements, so to encourage more players to test it Blizzard has turned on the +2000% legendary drop rate buff.

Can we can easily be bought with shiny candy? Yes, we can easily be bought with shiny candy.

Originally this patch was not going to require a significant amount of testing as it would have had a relatively small impact for the Americas, Europe, and Asia regions. Earlier today, though, we implemented a number of server performance optimizations that we believe would benefit from additional testing. To facilitate stress testing, we’re going to implement the 2000% increase to the Legendary Item Drop Rate again on the PTR.

Currently, we still do not plan on opening up the PTR Feedback or PTR Bug Report forums, since most of these changes will have no noticeable impact on your gameplay. That said, if you encounter a bug while on the PTR then please feel free to leave a comment about it on the PTR patch notes.
