Jay Mohr is the BlizzCon 2010 Host

Blizzard has made it official, announcing today that Jay Mohr will return as the host of this year’s BlizzCon. Here’s the official word:

Comedian and actor Jay Mohr will be returning to BlizzCon this year to serve as master of ceremonies for the live costume contest and other contests on the first night of the show. Jay is the star of the popular television show Gary Unmarried, and is known for his roles in movies like Jerry Maguire and for creating, producing, and hosting the successful TV series Last Comic Standing. We’ll have more info to share about the Friday-night contests and other events at BlizzCon in the months leading up to the show, so keep your eye on BlizzCon.com for more details.

Of course Jay made this announcement himself a few months ago, in a posted, then quickly-deleted Tweet. But let us never speak of that again!

You can check out Jay in action over on IncGamers TV where there’s a ton of footage from all the previous BlizzCons.

  1. i think you’re biased, and i think the game looks really good, and for me proportion in most cases is very insignificant, infact i think it looks better this way than if the characters were lifelike. And its not WoW influence, if you look how characters look ingame, besides shoulderpads, their body parts are pretty well proportioned, maybe arms are alittle bit bigger but not even close to being ridiculous, and its better that way. The art work from wow is just that : Art work, has little to do with wow itself, more so with artists who created the art. And btw the hand of orc is big because its supposed to look like its closer to you, hence bigger. Look at the other hand.
