Lots of interesting threads of late in our a new moderator for good measure. Here are a few of the newest and most intriguing debates., which has
The player cap for PvE D3 games is (almost certainly) going to be 4. Dropping the maximum from 8 (in D2) was initially controversial, but most players seem to have accepted Blizzard’s logic that 4 is a good size for coherent party play, while 8 leads to mad scrambling chaos, or multiple groups in the same game. Not everyone agrees though, as the vote and 50+ comments in this thread demonstrate.
Will Deckard Cain die in Diablo III?
I certainly hope so. I mean, it’s an interesting question. Will he die to demons and motivate our adventuring? Will he turn out to be a demon in disguise and face us in a final battle?
Which characters should be in the Diablo III Expansion(s)? A perennial topic blooms once again. As usual, lots of requests for returning male D2 chars, while other fans want all new options. I’m for new myself, though I’ve heard good arguments for the Druid. The Necro usually gets the most support, but I don’t see how he would fit in; D3 chars are all about active attacks, with very minimal CC skills and minions. So wouldn’t a returning Necro just be… a Witch Doctor with different attack spells?
What would you ask/tell Jay Wilson? If you had the chance, what would you say to the Diablo III Game Director? Got one pet peeve or issue that you feel must be given more attention?
Mike Morhaime gave a recent interview in which he once again dropped the “D3 is our best game for a possible console version” tease. I didn’t think it newsworthy since we’ve heard virtually identical comments several times before, but his quote has kicked off yet another D3 console debate in the forum, which you may join if you so desire.Related to this article
