Fan Art Watch #49

Greetings all and welcome to another installment of the Fan Art Watch. This week we showcase two pieces from the D1/D2 gallery and D3 gallery. Now let’s begin.

Starting of today we start begin with an assassin encountering a flayer shaman in some dark dungeon deep within the heart of Kurast. Assassin in Kurast by Puddingbat; shows a cool scene with the assassin’s target reflected in her blades before she strikes.

Wrapping everything up we receive an update for the piece Fallen Rider by Johntorrio. Losing his previous versions now we are shown a nice new design and look for the piece. Check his work in progress post in the forums for continued updates.

  1. I really do hope that this is just a quick write-in script for blizzard. Torchlight already has something like this and it’s just great. Case in point, Bliz is holding the cards so close to their chest right now, and all I feel like I really know about is the linear aspects of the game. If there is a list of “brag-able” features, they are not sharing it.  My biggest fear is that they will spend to much time refining the expected parts of the game (much to my disappointment in d2. I feel like it was just a bigger d1).
But like I said, the cards are very close to Blizzard’s chest, and I hope we get a bit more information on features like this very soon (including pvp and of course guilds!!!).
