Diablo Fan Art Watch #185: Imperius vs Diablo

Welcome friends to the latest installment of the Diablo Fan Art Watch. This week I bring you one piece by d1eSELxxxx entitled Imperius vs Diablo. This painting took about 7-9 hours and the size and detail is awesome. Below is a timelapse of that painting to the Diablo 2 Song Wilderness. Special thanks to Flux for finding the video.

d1eSELxxxx:This painting is done with acrylic on canvas that’s 24″ x 48″ in size. Music is from the Diablo 2 soundtrack (Blizzard Entertainment).

I hope you enjoy this video of my journey, doing what I love to do… and that is painting. You can view more of my art here at my website d1eselart.com.

Thank you Blizzard for the inspiration.

    1. This just reminds me about the sleazy bait&switch Blizzard pulled with the Imperious fight. Hyping up Imperius with cinematics and trailers just to lazily skip the fight like the fucking hack developers they are.

    2. The art is great! It just leaves me wondering how could anyone get inspired by this piece of crap game.

    3. That is awesome work! And that music, oh that music, it makes my heart hurt. Hands down the best in game music I have ever heard. I must say I was also very disappointed there was no fight with Imperius. I was certain something was about to go down, and they all just fell to the ground. I guess a fight to the death with an angel would have hurt the feelings of to many church going people, and young Johnny’s parents could not have that.
